Mathews Capital Partners Pty Limited (“MCP”), Australian Financial Services Licence (252748) was established by Philip Mathews in March 2001. Based in Sydney, Australia MCP manages in excess of A$1 bn of FuM on behalf of a variety of high-net worth individuals, private companies, trusts, superannuation funds and selected institutional clients. A significant portion of MCP’s FuM is owned by staff and related entities.

MCP remains “index agnostic” with a focus on delivering absolute returns via a high conviction and disciplined investment approach that has produced strong out-performance over the medium to long term. Over the past decade MCP funds have won many industry awards including;

The nucleus of the MCP senior management team including, Philip Mathews, Rod Hinchcliffe and Ben Henri have worked together continuously since 1999. The recent expansion of MCP has seen the launch of the Searchlight Asia Pacific Fund and Peak Energy and Global Resources Fund. The group has experienced a steady increase in FuM generated through both strong fund performance and increased new investor contributions into all the funds.
